Instructions to open bank accounts for scholarships
The Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) has directed the scholarship students to open bank accounts within a few days. This activity is for the purpose of sending money to the students who got scholarship in 5th and 8th class last year. It is learned from the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) that this instruction has been sent to all educational institutions.
According to the directive, the money allocated to meritorious and general scholarship students in the PEC and JSC examinations in 2019 will be sent online to students' bank accounts under GTUP (EFT) as per the decision of the Finance Ministry.
Therefore, the heads of the institutes have been directed to open online 'School Bank Accounts' or 'Bank Accounts' in any scheduled commercial bank with online facility in the joint name of the individual or parents of the students who got scholarships in these two examinations and upload it on Maushi by 5th June.
The Maushi software will be uploaded in a timely manner from the AMIS cell of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Maushi said. Scholarship students need to upload to MISE whether they are studying regularly or continuously, as well as whether there is any delay in their studies.
Maushi also instructed the Madrasa and Technical Education Board not to send information to the scholarship students, saying that the online bank account numbers should be filled in the names of the students correctly. If any mistake or irregularity is observed in this regard, the heads of the institutions will be personally responsible.
