SSC results released this month, College admission from 6-June

If the results of SSC and equivalent examinations are announced within this month, it is planned to start the admission process in class XI from June 8. College admission will be completed in three steps again.

Professor Harun-R-Rashid, college inspector of Dhaka Board of Education, told the media on Tuesday.

It is to be noted that due to the coronavirus (Kavid-19) epidemic, it was not possible to announce the results of this year's SSC and equivalent examinations in time. However, the results of the examination will be announced by May, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee said.

Professor Harun said if the SSC results are announced this month, the college admission schedule will be announced in early June. If all goes well, we want to start the admission process from June 7. The admission process will be completed in three steps like other times. But I will try to reduce the time a bit.

Students will be able to complete other tasks at home, including submitting college admissions online. However, they have to go to college at some stage to complete the admission process.

After announcing the results of SSC, the admission schedule will be announced in consultation with the ministry, said Professor Harun.

An official of the Ministry of Education said that like the last few years, students will be admitted in class XI on the basis of secondary results.

Once again, all educational institutions are required to enroll students online. Admission can be applied from the prescribed website (www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd). A student can apply to a maximum of 10 colleges.

Out of the number of colleges a student will apply for, he will be given the opportunity to be admitted in only one college on the basis of his merit and preference.
